Troubleshooting Your Bin Class, Saturday, July 29

On Saturday, July 29, Cornell Cooperative Extension will be conducting a class in their Composting With Confidence series. Titled “Troubleshooting Your Bin”, the class covers what can go wrong with a compost bin and how to prevent or fix the situation. It will be held at the Ithaca Community Garden, located on Carpenter Circle, near the Ithaca Farmer’s Market.

Composting With Confidence is a five week series of classes. From the event page: “Local composting experts provide information and give hands-on demonstrations to help you set up and manage a compost system in any setting! Each class of this FREE series covers composting basics, and a different focal topic is addressed each month (see below) to help you address any compost issue you may encounter. Stop by for one or all classes, and bring your composting questions! To sign up in advance, email Adam Michaelides, acm1@cornell.edu or call (607) 272-2292.”
