If you haven’t already, check out Food Policy Action, a 501c4 organization which dedicates its energy to promoting a sustainable food system through advocacy and education, and the publication of the National Food Policy Scorecard. The scorecard keeps our legislators accountable since it rates them (in a positive or negative direction) on voting for or against food policy sustainability and equitability issues.
Specifically, they state one of their main goals as;
“to change the national dialogue on food policy by educating the public on how elected officials are voting on these issues.”
Their website has a map which you can click on to see how our legislators voted on the various food policy issues. This allows for transparency and the ability to influence food policy change.
