What’s in your lunchbox? Free nutrition workshop for families on 2/24 from 6-7pm
For parents: Do you have questions about your child’s nutrition? Is your child a picky eater? Or maybe you are feeling stuck in a rut, sending in the same lunches every day? How do nutrition needs change as your child grows? What’s best for your child’s body?
For caregivers, child care providers, teachers: Would you like information and ideas to share with families on healthy nutritional choices? Would you like ideas for healthy snacks for your classrooms? Do you need professional development training in this area?
Come out on this Wednesday evening, February 24th, from 6-7 to share in this conversation. Workshop is free and open to the public. We are pleased to have as our guest speaker a member of the Nutritional Wellness Center of Ithaca. Free childcare will be provided but please sign up with Irina in the office by Tuesday afternoon so we can plan for enough coverage. We will also have some yummy, nutritious snacks for the children to taste!
Workshop to be held at Namaste Montessori School Primary Campus, 1608 Trumansburg Road, Ithaca, NY(if you are coming from Ithaca we are 1 mile North of the light at the hospital, opposite Stick and Stome Farm and the Ithaca Antique Mall)
