Announcement from Dryden’s Southworth Library:
The last session of of the “Bringing It to the Table: Feeding the World from Kansas to the Kalahari” will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 21 at the Southworth Library, 24 West Main Street, Dryden.
This final session will examine the pros and cons of GMOs and the food we farm and eat. Dr. Gary Fick, Cornell University, School of Integrative Plant Science, will join the conversation, along with facilitator Becca Rimmel, Education Program Manager for Groundswell. Reading materials are available at the library.
